On 9 May, the four-day 24th China International Foundry Expo successfully concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Centred on the themes of “Green, Intelligent and Innovative”, this year’s event brought together exhibitors and professional visitors from around the world, showcasing advanced technologies, high-end products and innovative solutions across the entire foundry industry chain.

HELI Foundry presented a range of benchmark castings and innovative process achievements at the exhibition. Thanks to its strong technical capabilities, the company was recognised as a “10th Executive Director Unit” by the China Foundry Association and honoured as an “Enterprise with Outstanding Comprehensive Competitiveness in China’s Foundry Industry”. In addition, one of its submitted papers received the “Hüttenes-Albertus Award” at the 22nd Annual Conference of the China Foundry Association.

Wu Laifa, Party Secretary and Plant Director, attended a series of industry events and was elected Vice Chairman of the 10th Council of the China Foundry Association. Plant leaders Sun Jian and Wu Youkun also attended related activities. Meanwhile, company leader Chen Xiancheng and his delegation visited the exhibition for guidance and exchanges with industry partners.

As a senior guest from the industry, Wu Laifa was also invited to attend the Foundry Expo’s special opening dinner, where he shared his insights from years of experience in the foundry industry and exchanged views with industry peers from around the world on sector development and the future of green and intelligent casting.

At this year’s exhibition, HELI Foundry’s stand featured a modern and technology-focused design, showcasing key areas including high-end castings and green casting processes. The display fully demonstrated the company’s latest achievements in green manufacturing, intelligent upgrading and technological innovation, attracting many industry experts, long-term and new customers, as well as business partners for in-depth discussions and exchanges.

Premium Castings on Display Demonstrate Strong Manufacturing Capability

A range of flagship products highlighting HELI Foundry’s manufacturing strength were showcased at the event. Among them, the motor housing, produced using a high-precision static pressure moulding process, can withstand pressures of nearly 70 MPa while offering high strength, excellent sealing performance and strong reliability. As a key component in hydraulic systems, it is widely supplied to well-known construction machinery brands both in China and overseas.

Other featured products included a 10-ton counterweight, a high-precision transmission housing for construction machinery, a ductile iron torque converter housing, and an integrated cast drive axle housing. With their complex structural designs, precise dimensional accuracy, excellent surface finish and strong mechanical performance, these products fully demonstrated the company’s solid expertise in large-scale, precision and high-strength castings.

Discussing Industry Trends and Exploring Future Cooperation

During the exhibition, the HELI Foundry team engaged with visiting guests through professional technical presentations, detailed product introductions and a sincere approach to cooperation. In-depth discussions were held on industry trends, directions for technological innovation and opportunities for supply chain collaboration.

Both new and long-term customers spoke highly of the company’s product quality, technical expertise and service capabilities. The two sides also reached a number of cooperation intentions in areas such as customised high-end castings, industry–university–research collaboration, and international market expansion, injecting new momentum into the company’s future market development and business growth.
